Srećna Nova 2022. godina! Jedva sam čekala da ispratim ubedljivo najgoru godinu u svom životu i da joj konačno vidim leđa, a odlučila sam da započnem ovu radeći ono što volim. Danas se slavi pravoslavni Božić po julijanskom kalendaru i iskoristila sam ovaj sunčan dan da uslikam ovu kombinaciju u svetlim neutralnim tonovima koja je savršena za toplije zimske dane. 

Više puta sam istakla da se trudim da otkrijem i podržim što više domaćih biznisa i brendova, a od jednog od njih sam posebno često kupovala tokom prethodne godine - u pitanju je brend Fashion Hunter sa čijeg sajta je ova savršena zimska jakna u svestranoj nijansi bež. Idealna je za kombinovanje i s laganim i s toplim slojevima, zadivljujuće je topla i u njoj se ne osećam kao džinovska penasta bombona koja će se svakog trenutka spotaći i skotrljati niz ulicu. xD 

Isto tako, trudim se da kupujem što savesnije kad se radi o održivosti, a jedan od brendova koji funkcioniše upravo po tom principu jeste Alohas od kog sam poručila ove neobične čizmice koje su mi trenutno omiljene. Ovaj brend koristi kvalitetne materijale u izradi svojih proizvoda i radi po principu poručivanja unapred - u zavisnosti od toga koliko komada određenog artikla bude poručeno, oni će odrediti tačan utrošak materijala i drugih resursa za njihovu izradu, čime svode tekstilni otpad na minimum i izbegavaju hiperprodukciju. Ove čizme su toliko udobne da bih u njima mogla da hodam ceo dan i sigurna sam da ću u nekom trenutku ponovo kupovati od njih.

Happy New Year and welcome 2022! I couldn't wait to finally escort the worst year of my life out the window, and I decided to start off this one doing what I love. It's Orthodox Christmas according to the Julian calendar today, so I used this wonderful sunny day to shoot this outfit in light neutral tones, which is perfect for warm winter days. 

I said that I do my best to discover and support as many local business and brands as I can more than once, and one of them made me order a couple of times during the last year - the brand in question is called Fashion Hunter, and this perfect winter jacket in the most versatile shade of beige was ordered from their website. It's ideal for layering with both light and chunky, warm items, it's surprisingly warm and doesn't make me look like a giant marshmallow which will trip and roll down the street any second. xD 

I'm also doing my best to shop sustainably any time I can, and one of my most recent discoveries when it comes to sustainable brands is Alohas, the brand that produced these statement ankle boots which are now my favourite. This brand uses good quality materials in production and they function by preorder - depending on how many orders they get, they can determine the exact amount of material they need, as well as the use of other resources for production, which helps them reduce textile waste and avoid hyperproduction. These boots are so comfy that I can spend the whole day walking in them and I'm sure that I'll order from them again at some point.
