Ne sećam se kad sam poslednji put bila ovoliko zadovoljna odevnom kombinacijom koju sam sastavila i time kako su slike ispale! Ponekad se desi da mi je loš dan i da imam problem da izaberem slike kojima sam dovoljno zadovoljna da ih podelim ovde s vama, a sad sam jedva uspela da se ograničim na ovo što sad vidite. Imam osećaj da se sve idealno poklopilo do najsitnijeg detalja - svi elementi odevne kombinacije, lokacija, vremenske prilike i svetlost. Za fotografije je zaslužna, kao i uvek, moja mama - ona je inače pravnica s doktoratom po profesiji i fotografija joj je samo hobi, možemo li zajedno da joj odamo priznanje za ovako fenomenalno obavljen posao? Još jedna zanimljivost je to da su fotografije nastale baš na Dan Majki, mada smo to shvatile tek kasnije kad smo se vratile kući.

Bež je postala moja omiljena boja za kombinovanje, a posebno me oduševljava njena nijansa poznata kao "camel" boja - poseduje bezvremensku eleganciju koju sam spremna da prigrlim raširenih ruku, i zato u poslednje vreme obogaćujem svoj garderober komadima koji na sebi imaju makar detalje ove boje. Haljinu koju nosim i torbicu pronašla sam u ponudi brenda Orsay koji mi ranije, iz nekog razloga, nije preterano privlačio pažnju. Činjenicu da sam odlučila da ga malo bolje proučim takođe dugujem svojoj mami jer je ona nedavno kupila nekoliko bluza i haljina tog brenda i zainteresovala me za njega. Jednom sam posetila jednu njihovu prodavnicu zajedno s njom jer su imali sezonsko sniženje i tada sam ugledala ovu predivnu haljinicu od viskoze kojoj nisam mogla da odolim. Tako je lagana i prijatna, a i stilski raznovrsna - u zavisnosti od toga s čim je kombinujem mogu je nositi na toliko različitih načina i da mi nikad ne ponestane inspiracije. Torbicu je, verovali ili ne, primetila moja mama kad smo nekom drugom prilikom bez ikakvog određenog razloga posetile njihovu drugu prodavnicu i nisam mogla da verujem da mi je nešto ovako simpatično zamalo promaklo. Istovremeno je i neobična i elegantna i ovo neće biti poslednji put da je vidite na blogu.

Dan pre nego što smo odradile ovo slikanje, mama i ja smo zajedno uradile nešto mnogo važnije - primile smo vakcinu protiv covid-19! Mama je primila prvu dozu, a ja sam u tom momentu bila na revakcinaciji jer sam kao zdravstveni radnik prvu dozu primila tri nedelje pre toga. Sad možemo da brinemo malo manje znajući da ćemo uskoro i ona i ja biti zaštićene. ♡

Inspirisana Danom Majki koji je sad iza nas želim da pošaljem malo ljubavi kako vašim majkama i vama koje ste majke, tako i svima vama koji ste izgubili majku, koji iz nekog razloga niste u dobrim odnosima sa svojom majkom ili decom, majkama koje su izgubile svoju decu, vama koje ste svojoj deci i majka i otac, majkama koje su ostale bez posla, majkama koje rade od kuće, onima koje su postale majke tako što su usvojile decu, onima koje žele da postanu majke a iz nekog razloga imaju poteškoća, kao i onima koje su odlučile da nemaju potomstvo - svima vama. Bez obzira na izbore koje ste napravili i okolnosti u vašem životu, svi podjednako zaslužujete ljubav. ♡

I don't remember the last time I was this happy with an outfit I put together and the way the photos turned out! Sometimes I have such a bad day that I struggle to pick out photos I'm happy with enough to share them here with you, but today I hardly managed to narrow down to what you're seeing right now. I have a feeling that it all came together ideally to the smallest detail - all the elements of the outfit, the location, the weather and the lighting. These photos were taken, as always, by my mum who is actually a lawyer with a PhD and who photographs solely as a hobby, can we all come together and applaud her for a job this well done? Another interesting thing is that these photos were taken on Mother's Day, although we only realized that when we got back home.

Beige has become my favourite color to wear, and I'm especially drawn to its variant called "camel" - it possesses timeless elegance which I'm ready to embrace with arms wide open, which is why I've been adding clothes that have that color at least through details to my closet. I found the dress I'm wearing and the handbag among the recent arrivals of the brand Orsay which, for some reason, hasn't taken much of my attention until now. The fact that I decided to give it a go is something I also owe to my mum because she recently bought several dresses and blouses of the brand and got me intrigued. One time I visited one of their shops with her and that's when I saw this lovely dress made of viscose which I couldn't resist. It's so light and comfy, and also versatile - depending on what I pair it with I can wear it in many different ways and never run out of ideas. Believe it or not, my mum noticed this handbag when we visited their other shop for no specific reason and I couldn't believe that I almost missed out on something this cute. It's both unusual and elegant at once and this won't be the last time you'll be seeing it on the blog.

The day before we took these photos, mum and I did something much more important together - we got our covid-19 vaccines! Mum got her first dose, and in the meantime I got my second shot because I was first vaccinated three weeks prior as I'm a health worker. Now we can worry a little less knowing that soon both of us will be protected. ♡

Inspired by Mother's Day which is now behind us, I would like to send some love to your mothers and those of you who are mothers yourselves, but also to those of you who've lost your mothers, those of you with estranged mother and children relationships, to mothers who've lost their children, those of you who are both a mother and father to your children, mothers who have lost their jobs, mothers who work from home, those who became mothers through adopting, those who want to become mothers but are struggling for whatever reason, and to those who decided not to have offspring - to all of you. No matter what choices you made or what circumstances you are facing in your lives, you are all equally deserving of love. ♡
