Sigurno ste iznenađeni što ja, koju možete opisati kao bilo šta osim kao obožavaoca Kardashian/Jenner porodice, biram upravo Kendall Jenner kao inspiraciju u domenu mode i stila. Međutim, koliko god se ja mrštila kad je vidim na nekoj naslovnici ili prestižnom događaju, i bez obzira na diskusiju o tome da li je svoj ugled u modnoj industriji stekla prezimenom ili trudom i radom kao sav normalan svet (u šta, da se ne lažemo, niko od nas nije upućen tako da nemamo prava da otvaramo tu temu), moram priznati da se pojavljivala u izdanjima koja su bila itekako vredna pažnje. Nisam sigurna šta tačno mislim o njenom stilu iz jednog jednostavnog razloga: kad god neki magazin na svom portalu objavi njena izdanja koja ili hvali ili kudi, desi se da me neka od njih ostave bez teksta od oduševljenja dok me druga, najblaže rečeno, zgražavaju. Naime, njen stil se ogleda u njenoj potrebi da koketira sa seksepilom i provokacijama različitog stepena bez obzira da li želi da izgleda ležerno ili formalno, što je u nekim situacijama briljantan uspeh, a u drugim potpuna katastrofa. Uz to se da primetiti njeno oduševljenje špicastim gležnjačama koje gotovo stalno nosi (a možemo li je kriviti? Potrebno mi je sigurno nekoliko pari istih!). Kako većina čitalaca ovog bloga, poput mene, nije u mogućnosti da, pre svega, iz finansijskih razloga isprati njen stil, odabrala sam neke od njenih ležernih kombinacija koje izgledaju tako da i u okviru budžeta jedne tipične savremene žene mogu biti oponašane. Naravno da vam ne savetujem da budete prazna kopija njenog izgleda, ali ukoliko želite da odajete utisak devojke koja odiše stilom u svoj svojoj nonšalanciji, poslužite se sledećim trikovima: šire komade kombinujte sa modelima koji prianjaju uz telo i ističu figuru, i koketirajte sa seksepilom, ali samo dok vaša lična anatomija ostaje nedostupna javnosti. Otkrivajte tek toliko da zagolicate maštu i pokažite šta znate. Dozvolite da svi vide vaš pravi sjaj i samopouzdanje u kombinacijama koje vas najbolje predstavljaju, i sa ponosom nosite svoju odeću umesto da dozvolite da ona nosi vas.


I'm sure you're surprised that I, who can be described as anything but a fan of the Kardashian/Jenner family, chose none other than Kendall Jenner as a muse in the fashion and style domain. However, if we disregard the fact that I frown when I see her on the front cover or a prestigious event, or the everlasting discussion on whether she earned her reputation in the fashion industry thanks to her last name or her own efforts like any normal human being (which none of us know a thing about so, to be honest, we are not entitled to discuss this topic), I have to admit that she had outfits that were eye-catching to say the least. I'm not sure whether I love or hate her personal style for one simple reason: whenever a fashion magazine portal publishes her outfits in order to praise or trash them, some of them leave me in awe while others shock me in the worst way possible. Namely, her style is characteristic by her need to play with sex appeal and provocation on different levels no matter if she's trying to be casual or formal, which is sometimes a brilliant success, and sometimes a complete disaster. You can also notice how much she loves pointy ankle boots (and who can blame her? I need at least a couple of pairs of those!). As most readers of this blog, like myself, cannot afford to keep up with her style completely, mainly for financial reasons, for this post I have chosen some of her outfits that can be somewhat impersonated within the budget of a typical contemporary woman. Of course I'm not advising you to be an empty copy of her looks, but if you want to give away the impression of a girl that is always effortlessly chic, use the following tricks: combine loose and oversized pieces with those that are tighter and emphasize your figure, and flirt with sex appeal as long as your personal anatomy stays invisible for the public. Reveal just enough to tickle the imagination and show what you're made of. Let everyone see your true glow and confidence in outfits that represent you in the best way, and proudly wear your clothes instead of letting them wear you.
