Oni koji me prate na Instagramu i Snapchatu su to saznali i ranije, a sada i vi ostali imate priliku da najzad saznate gde sam odlučila da pobegnem na nekoliko dana - Amsterdam! U poslednje vreme mi je to bila velika želja tako da nisam dvaput razmišljala kada mi se ukazala prilika. Iako je grad na severu Evrope, za koji mnogi vezuju hladnoću, što objektivnu, što onu u ljudima i mentalitetu, ja sam stekla sasvim suprotan utisak. Ovde je nemoguće izgubiti se, pre svega što gotovo svako govori engleski i, koga god da zamolite za pomoć, rado će vam pokazati kuda dalje da idete. Bilo po suncu ili kiši, Amsterdam mi je jednom rečju božanstven - arhitektura, zelenilo, izlozi, pa čak i meštani, želela sam da sa vama podelim makar deliće onoga što sam videla i pripremim vas za posetu ovom gradu na koju se pre ili kasnije morate odlučiti. Verujte mi da vredi svaku paru i svaki pređeni kilometar.

Sigurna sam da primećujete da na velikoj većini fotografija dominira nešto određeno - bicikli. Bicikl za biciklom, nema gde ih nema. Štaviše, mislim da postoji veća verovatnoća da vas zgazi neki biciklista nego bilo koje drugo vozilo. Što se mene tiče, oni su mi ulepšali svaku fotografiju jer su zaista pravi simbol Amsterdama i savršeno predstavljaju duh ovog čarobnog grada.

Those who follow me on Instagram and Snapchat were the first ones to find out, but now the rest of you have a chance to finally see where I decided to go on a quick getaway - Amsterdam! It's been one of the to-do things on my bucket list so I didn't think twice when I got the chance. Although it's a city located in the north of Europe, which people relate to cold, both literal cold and the one in people and their mentality, I got a completely different impression. You can't possibly get lost here, first and foremost because nearly everyone speaks English and no matter who you ask for help, they will gladly point you the way. Whether it's a sunny day or it's raining, Amsterdam is divine to say the least - the architecture, the greenery, the store windows, and even the locals, I wanted to share at least some bits and pieces of everything I saw and get you ready for your own trip to this city, which you simply must plan at some point. Believe me that it's worth every penny and every kilometer of the way.

I'm sure that you can notice that in most photos something specific is always in the focus - bicycles. One bicycle after another, you can't possibly find a square meter without one. As a matter of fact, I think that it's more likely that someone on a bike could run you over rather than by any other mean of transport. If you ask me, they made every single photo I took much more beautiful because they are a true symbol of Amsterdam and they perfectly depict the spirit of this truly magical city.
