Lately I'm in love with the boyish vibe hoodies and sweatshirts give to our outfits, and autumn is a good enough excuse for me to wear them. Even so, I never choose anything too boyish, their baggy style is enough to give me the casual touch that I want. Ponchos are super practical and stylish with fringes and tribal patterns, but I love this one - seemingly plain, but these zippers really make it stand out. Asymmetric cuts and stripes are also my number one picks for this autumn.

Coats are my most recent obsessions. No matter how many I buy, it's never enough. And these days my philosophy says: "The longer, the better!" There's something super elegant when an oversized coat flounces around a woman's figure while she walks with grace, and yet something effortless and chic when it's stoned on her like a solid cape. These sequined boots are a super feminine way to go, as long as it doesn't rain, of course. The bag is a classic, and woolen trousers or leather skirts in burgundy can make you look good even in business variants.

Shein's autumn must-haves

Hello, guys! I'm back with another SheIn recommendation post for this autumn! I picked some items that are, in my mind, a total must-have for this season. So, shall we take a look?

Keeping it simple is the way to go this season, at least when it comes to patterns and colors. But why make it boring? Choose a different form instead! Pick a super long coat or a loose chunky sweater/cardigan for an effortless and trendy look. If it's too plain for you, feel free to spice your outfit up with accessories, but I think that these work pretty fine on their own as well. Also, don't forget to pick a good pair of jeans. I recommend high waist models to get an instant hourglass figure. ;)

Time to pick some accessories! A classic handbag in black is an absolute must every season, that's something that never goes away. However, a beautiful alternative is to pick a leather backpack, for casual occasions. And make it a plain one, not every bag you have has to be studded. High heels such as these here are very stable, comfy and also super stylish, but if you're not a high heel girl this other pair with edgy buckles is also a winning pick. And in the end, don't forget the chilly winds that blow our way! Pick a scarf in this season's trending color, burgundy, or go with a classical beige and you're good to go!

Moja sestra od ujaka najzad je stala na ludi kamen, i bilo je divno slaviti tako srećan dan sa njom. Međutim, pošto ne idem često na tako svečane događaje večita dilema je stupila na snagu - šta obući? A onda mi je sinulo - šta fali haljini koju sam kupila pre čitave tri godine i koju skoro uopšte nisam nosila jer nije bilo prilike? U skladu s tim izborom odlučila sam se za minimalizam u detaljima - haljini nije trebalo ništa više od jednobojnih cipela i pismo torbice da je isprate i dozvole joj da ovlada čitavim izgledom. Moram priznati da se nimalo ne kajem što sam popustila pred njom, možda mi sad stoji čak i bolje nego onda kad sam je pronašla i kupila. ;)
Svojoj sestri želim svu sreću u bračnom životu, ali ne sumnjam da će je imati na pretek jer je odabrala pravu osobu s kojom će ga deliti. Najveća sreća je doživeti da pronađeš svoju srodnu dušu i imaš je uz sebe. Breme je lakše kada se podeli na dvoje leđa, a sreća je i slađa i veća kada u njoj učestvuju oni koje voliš.

My cousin finally got hitched, and it was wonderful to celebrate such a happy day with her. However, since I don't attend such formal events that often the eternal dilemma struck like lightning - what do I wear? And then I got it - what's wrong with the dress I bought three years ago and barely ever wore because there was no occasion for it? After choosing it I went with minimalism in details - the dress needed nothing more than one-color shoes and clutch bag to keep up with it and let it rule the entire look. I have to admit that I don't regret buying it at all, maybe it looks even better on me now than it did back then. ;)
I wish my cousin all the happiness in the world in her marriage, but I don't doubt that she'll have plenty of it since she chose the right person to share it with. The greatest happiness in life is when you find your soulmate and have them by your side. The burden is much easier to bear when divided in two, and happiness is both sweeter and greater when people you love take part in it.

Ležeran i elegantan u isto vreme, ovaj outfit može poslužiti i za vrele letnje večeri, i za šetnju i za izlaske. Slažete li se? ;)

In these summer heats I go with minimalistic looks. Light materials, my favourite neutrals and pastels, comfy flats and jewellery that is light to wear, but also eye-catching and feminine. Zdravo, narode! Posle uspešno završenog ispitnog roka napokon se javljam, a nadam se da će vas obradovati i to što planiram novi outfit post relativno uskoro. I sama jedva čekam! Ali, pre toga, mali osvrt na moj omiljeni sajt SheIn i moje najnovije favorite. Za početak, mali predlog za trendi outfit:

Ukoliko ne trpite paklene vrućine poput ovih u Beogradu (gde ima i više od 40 stepeni, ali se uporno o tome ćuti) ovo je sasvim sigurno nešto u čemu se nećete skuvati. Jedan od poslednjih trendova diktira nošenje komada sa resama, a ovakva jakna je na mojoj listi želja već duže vreme. Što se tiče majice, sa natpisom se slažem, i to ne tako malim delom jer će vam danas pre gledati u grudi nego u oči, ili je to možda samo moje mišljenje. Šalu na stranu, ovakve majice volim jer su jednostavne, a sjajno se uparuju sa komadima poput ovog šortsa koji mi se stvarno mnogo dopada. Sva sreća da su ovakvi outfiti sami po sebi prilično efektni pa vam nisu potrebni aksesoari poput glomaznih ogrlica koje bi vam samo smetale na ovoj vrućini.

Hello, suspects! After a successful exam period I'm finally writing, and I hope that you'll be happy to hear that I'm planning a new outfit post relatively soon. I can't wait for it myself! But before that, here I am with my all-time favourite SheIn website and some of my most recent picks. For a start, here is a little suggestion for a trendy outfit:

If you aren't sizzling in the merciless heat such as this one in Belgrade (where it's over 40 degrees Celsius, but they keep lowering the heat scale) this is something you won't boil to death in. One of the most recent trends dictates wearing items with fringes, and this jacket is something that I want for quite a while. When it comes to this t-shirt, I agree with the print almost entirely because most people nowadays look into your breasts more often then into your eyes, or maybe it's just my opinion. Just kidding, of course, but these t-shirts are great because they are simple and easy for pairing up with a pair of shorts such as this one, which I like very much. Good thing that outfits like this are pretty effective as they are and you don't need accessories such as statement necklaces that would only be a fuss to wear in this heat.

Ono što je apsolutni imperativ svakog leta su svakako haljine! Kako bilo gde ići bez njih? Za ležerne i plažne varijante jedna pamučna sa mornarskim prugama je idealan izbor.  Za izlaske uveče ili, ako vam se posreći, dejtove svakako biram jednu klasičnu puderasto roze haljinu koja će nehajno pratiti siluetu, a na pravim mestima lagano odstupati od nje. I jeste da je mala crna haljina obavezna investicija za svaku devojku, ali leti biram da je gurnem u drugi plan da ustupi mesto beloj. Obično mi ovakav kroj užasno stoji, ali ovi rajsferšlusi su tako markantan detalj da nisam mogla tek tako da je zaobiđem.

Dresses are an absolute imperative every summer! How do you go anywhere without them? For casual and beach days a cotton dress with sailor stripes is an excellent choice. For nights out and, if you get lucky, dates, my pick is a powder pink classy dress that gently slides against the silhouette, and all at once, follows its own path in all the right places. And yes, maybe the little black dress is something every girl should invest in, but when summer comes I choose to push it back and let the white dress take its place. I usually look terrible in this shape, but these zippers were such a powerful detail that made me want this dress so bad.

Pre dva dana mi je bio rođendan, a pored toga sam imala i ispite (upravo sam se vratila sa jednog) tako da nisam mogla da napišem i objavim novi post na blogu, a sada hvatam trenutak između dva ispita da vam makar pokažem mali poklon od drugarice koji me je apsolutno oduševio. Oduvek sam kukala kako bih volela da imam jedan EOS balzam za usne u svojoj omiljenoj boji i sa najdražim mirisom (koji se osećao i kroz zatvoreno pakovanje, karton i plastiku), ali nikada nisam mislila da ću ga imati, bar ne u skorije vreme. :P U trenucima kada ga ne držim neposredno ispred nosa jer sam navučena na njegov divan i osvežavajuć miris, stavim tek jedan sloj na usne i suzdržavam se od toga da ga pojedem koliko mi se dopada. Kremast je, hidrirajuć, i ostavlja osećaj uživancije i rashlađenja na usnama koji mi je preko potreban na ovim nemilosrdnim vrućinama. Nadam se da ću uskoro imati priliku da se domognem još nekog ukusa. ;)

My birthday was two days ago, and I also had exams (I just got back from one) so I couldn't write and publish a new post on the blog, and now I'm using a moment between two exams to at least show you a little gift that my friend blew me away with. I always whined about wanting to have an EOS lip balm in my favourite color and with my favourite smell (that you could feel through the closed package, cardboard and plastic), but I never thought that I'd get my hands on it, or at least not anytime soon. :P At the times when I don't hold it literally under my nose because I'm hooked to its wonderful and refreshing scent, I put just a small layer on the lips and control myself so I don't eat it up how much I love it. It's creamy, it hydrates and it leaves a feeling of enjoyment and cooling on your lips that I need so desperately in this merciless heat. I hope for a chance to get my hands on some other flavors as well. ;)

Kako se bliži moj 21. rođendan (u jeku još jednog ispitnog roka posle ovog, jeeej -.-*), počinjem da razmišljam o tome čime bi neko mogao da me obraduje na taj divan dan (prijatelji, gledajte pažljivo ;D). Manijaka za šortsevima ćete lako usrećiti s još jednim u nizu jer ih nikada neću imati dovoljno, a pošto već duže vreme priželjkujem i jedan lepi kimono i to bi bio siguran izbor. Mala crna haljina je bezvremenski klasik i ova mi se baš dopada iako sam videla na brojnim slikama da je dekolte gotovo predubok za moj ukus, mada i to može izgledati jako zanimljivo. Cipele? Zašto da ne! Ovaj model mi je predivan iako ih možda ne bih uzela u crnoj boji (neka mornarsko plava/indigo bi bila super). I, naposletku, pošto smatram sebe "detetom leta", možda čak i najlakši način da me neko usreći na rođendan je da mi kupi nešto od letnje garderobe poput ovog prelepog topa.
Iako rođendan najverovatnije neću proslaviti jer mi na taj dan pada jedan ne tako lak ispit (mada možda pomerim neku malu proslavu za kasnije), baš me zanima kakva bi iznenađenja mogla da me snađu i od fakulteta i od prijatelja i poznanika (nadam se ne neprijatna). :)


As my 21st birthday is coming closer (at the time of another exam period after this one, yeeey -.-*), I'm thinking about what someone could make me happy with on that very special day (friends, look carefully ;D). A shorts obsessed maniac will be instantly happy with yet another pair as I'll never have enough of them, and since I want a pretty kimono for quite some time now it would also be a no-fail choice. A little black dress is a timeless classic and I like this one although I've seen that it really has a deep cut, though it can look very interesting as well. Shoes? Why not! I love this model even though I wouldn't pick them in black (perhaps navy blue/indigo would be awesome). And, finally, as I consider myself "a summer child", maybe the easiest way to make me happy on my birthday is to buy me something for summer such as this beautiful bandeau.
Although I probably won't celebrate my birthday as I have an exam which is not so easy to pass on that day (I may postpone a potential little celebration for later), I'm really curious to see what kind of surprises I could get from my college and friends (hopefully not unpleasant ones). :)

Postoje tri razloga što sam ovaj post ovako nazvala. Prvi - opsednuta sam tom serijom. Drugi je ova ogrlica koja me dosta podseća na pojavu moje omiljene junakinje Daenerys Targaryen koju je u seriji veličanstveno dočarala moja omiljena glumica Emilia Clarke. Treći, i najvažniji razlog je taj što sam se, slikajući se u ovoj monohromatskoj kombinaciji, osećala moćno i veličanstveno, poput kraljice koja sedi na dobro poznatom gvozdenom prestolu. To u vama može probuditi samo dobar prijatelj, osoba koja je toliko lepa i spolja i iznutra da tu lepotu prenese i na vas, nekada toliko da teško prepoznate sebe. Danas sam srećna i počastvovana zbog toga što obnavljam jedno takvo prijateljstvo sa nekim ko me zasmejava, daje mi komplimente bez zavisti i čini da pamtim svoje najsrećnije trenutke, nekad čak i kroz fotografije. ♡


There are three reasons why I named this post this way. First - I'm obsessed with this series. The second is this necklace that reminds me a lot of my favourite heroine Daenerys Targaryen that was portrayed perfectly by my favourite actress Emilia Clarke. The third, and most important reason is that, while taking pictures in this monochromatic outfit, I felt powerful and magnificent, just like a queen sitting on the very well known iron throne. That's what only a great friend can awaken in you, a person that is so beautiful both on the inside and on the outside to transmit that beauty onto you as well, sometimes even so much you can barely recognize yourself. Today I am happy and honored to have rebuilt one such friendship with someone who makes me laugh, gives me compliments without envy and makes me remember my happiest moments, sometimes even through photographs. ♡

Pre nego što objavim naredni outfit post (ispitni rok se približava pa moram da se latim knijge) pokazaću vam neke sitnice koje sam skoro dobila u saradnji sa brendovima Sheinside i Happiness Boutique, plus jednu koju sam imala sreće da pronađem kada sam išla na događaj inspirisan mojom omiljenom književno-filmskom franšizom. Ovaj top nalik na donji veš poručila sam još pre nego što sam u Temišvaru kupila sličan (pokazala sam vam ga u nekom od prethodnih postova) jer nisam bila sigurna hoću li ga pronaći, i mnogo mi se dopadaju njegovi čipkani delovi. Ljubaznošću ljudi koji stoje iza sajta Happiness Boutique dobila sam u znak saradnje ovu savršenu ogrlicu kakvu sam tražila već duže vreme i nikako nisam uspela da naiđem na odgovarajuću dok nisam pronašla njih. Uz nju nijedan outfit sasvim sigurno neće biti dosadan. Ono što me je oduševilo koliko i sama ogrlica je način na koji su je upakovali da bi neoštećena stigla do mene, kao i mala posveta koja me je raznežila. Retko kad imam priliku da sarađujem s brendom koji posveti više pažnje pakovanju svojih pošiljki umesto da ih samo strpa u kesu, tako da toplo preporučujem da pogledate njihov sajt.
Što se tiče ove neobične ogrlice koju sam kupila, ona je replika vremeplov-priveska iz filma "Hari Poter i zatvorenik iz Azkabana" (sniman po trećoj knjizi iz popularne franšize) koja ima moć da vraća vreme unazad i šalje svog nosioca u deo prošlosti koji želi da izmeni. Međutim, pošto je ovo ipak samo ogrlica koja nema tu moć (barem koliko ja znam), bolje je da prionem na knjigu jer se ispiti bliže, a vreme ističe!


Before I publish a new outfit post (exams are getting closer so I have to take my books and study) I'm going to show you some little things that I recently got in collaboration with the brands Sheinside and Happiness Boutique, plus another one that I had the luck to find when I went to an event inspired by my favourite literary-movie franchise. I ordered this bralet even before I bought a similar one in Timisoara (which you saw in one of my previous posts) because I wasn't sure if I was going to find it, and I really like its lace details. With the kindness of people who stand behind the Happiness Boutique I got this perfect statement necklace as a sign of collaboration. I was looking for such a necklace for so long and I couldn't find anything I wanted anywhere until I came across them. No outfit will be boring with it, that's for sure. What I loved as much as the necklace itself was the way they packed it to make sure it would be delivered to me undamaged, as well as the little message that melted my heart. I rarely have the opportunity to work with a brand that devotes much more attention to packing its merchandise than just tossing it in a bag, so I happily recommend you to visit their website.
When it comes to this unusual necklace that I bought, it's a replica of a time turner from the movie "Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban" (filmed by the third book of the popular franchise) that has the power to turn back time and take its bearer to the part of the past that he or she wants to alter. However, since this is just a necklace that has no such power (at least that I know of), I better go study since exams are coming, and time is running out!

Welcome to my future

U današnjem postu donosim vam nešto malo drugačije od uobičajenog sadržaja ovog bloga. Iz malog uvodnog pasusa sa strane na blogu možete pročitati da sam student stomatologije u svom rodnom gradu Beogradu, pa sam mislila da ne bi bilo loše da vam pokažem barem delić puta do stomatološke karijere. Dugo nisam mogla da se odlučim za to koji ću fakultet upisati jer, iskreno da vam kažem, mislim da je zaista nepravedno što se od nas traži da tako mladi, neodlučni i željni da isprobamo sve moguće stvari trajno odaberemo u kom smeru ćemo graditi svoju budućnost dok još ljudski nismo iskoristili ni svoju sadašnjost. Posle temeljnog razmišljanja i uzimanja svih mogućnosti u obzir odabrala sam stomatologiju i uopšte se ne kajem što sam se opredelila upravo za nju. Jeste teško, i jeste naporno, ali jednom kada shvatite da je sav vaš napor vredan truda osetićete ne samo olakšanje, već i zadovoljstvo.
Ovo su slike sa naših, da kažem, glupiranja na praktičnoj nastavi iz gnatologije koju vam ne mogu baš najbolje predstaviti jer sam ubeđena da ni sami profesori ne znaju šta tačno žele od nas, ali ono što sa sigurnošću mogu da tvrdim je da sam na ovom fakultetu upoznala mnogo divnih ljudi, svojih budućih kolega, i da sam od tog dana jako srećna. Za one koji u poslednje vreme razmišljaju o tome koji će fakultet upisati imam samo jedan savet: pokušajte da pronađete spoj onoga u čemu ste dobri s onim što vas usrećuje, jer ćete samo tako biti sigurni da nećete pogrešiti.


In today's post I bring you something slightly different from the usual content of this blog. In the little introduction paragraph on the sidebar of my blog you can read that I'm a dental medicine student in my home city Belgrade, so I thought that it wouldn't be bad if I showed you at least a part of the journey to the career of a dentist. For so long I couldn't decide what college I wanted to apply for because, to be honest, I think it's really unfair that we are, in our best years when we're young, indecisive and eager to try everything out, obliged to choose how we're going to build our future before we could even experience our present the right way. After thinking through it thoroughly and taking all my possibilities into consideration I chose dental medicine and I don't regret making up my mind that way. It is hard, and it does demand a lot of effort, but once you realize that all your hard work is worth it you will feel not only relief, but also pleasure.
These are the pictures from us, let's say, fooling around on gnatology practice which I can't really explain all that well because I doubt that even our teachers know what exactly they want from us, but what I can say with certainty is that I met so many wonderful people in this college, my future colleagues, and that I'm really happy ever since. I only have one piece of advice for those who've been thinking about which college to apply for lately: try to find a merge of what you're good at and what makes you happy, because only then will you be sure that you'll never go wrong.
