All paths lead to Rome

Our next destination was the eternal city - Rome. Even though the name of this post matches the famous old saying, it wasn't quite that way in our case, since our bus driver made a wrong turn and it took us a lot more time to arrive to our hotel. :) We stayed at a beautiful hotel on the west coast, near the Tyrrhenian Sea, and we had a pool and a wonderful sandy beach. Our trip included two days of sightseeing in this magnificent city, such as visiting the Coliseum and the Spanish Square on day one, and the Vatican museum, the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Basilica on day two.
Shopping and long lasting walks are considered, of course. ;) Since we were caught in a chaotic rain storm on the evening in Florence, we were all soaking wet, and my trench coat got all dirty, so you won't be seeing it in the photos anymore. It was replaced by this beautiful leather jacket that I found in Rome and fell in love with it immediately. <3 It was exactly what I was looking for.
And also, this satchel was so practical and the boots were so comfortable that I wore them every day of the trip. I really liked Rome and took a bunch of pictures - here are some of them.

Naša sledeća destinacija bio je večni grad - Rim. Iako se ime ovog posta podudara s čuvenom starom izrekom, u našem slučaju nije bilo baš tako, pošto je vozač pogrešno skrenuo na putu do našeg hotela, u koji smo stigli kasnije od ostalih. :) Odseli smo u prelepom hotelu na zapadnoj obali, u blizini Tirenskog mora, i imali smo bazen i predivnu peščanu plažu. Naša ekskurzija podrazumevala je dva dana razgledanja ovog veličanstvenog grada, poput posete Koloseumu i Španskom trgu prvog dana, i Vatikanskom muzeju, Sikstinskoj kapeli i bazilici svetog Petra drugog dana.
Kupovina i dugotrajne šetnje se podrazumevaju, naravno. ;) Pošto nas je u Firenci uveče zadesio haotičan, dugotrajni pljusak, svi smo pokisli do gole kože, a moj mantil se isprljao, tako da ga nećete viđati na narednim slikama. Zamenila ga je ova savršena kožna jakna koju sam pronašla u Rimu i odmah se zaljubila u nju. <3 To je bilo baš ono što sam tražila.
Takođe, ova torba je bila tako praktična, a ove čizme tako udobne da sam ih nosila svakog narednog dana. Zaista mi se dopao Rim i mnogo sam fotografisala - pokazaću vam neke od slika.
