A day in Venice

Venice was the last city we've been to (if we don't count Trieste, which was our stop for a break while going back home), and I had an amazing time there. After seeing all those water streets, beautiful balconies and experiencing the romantic atmosphere, I understood why it's one of the most visited cities in Italy. It's beyond beautiful in every possible way.
A small ship took us to Venice, and after a short while of listening to tour guides, we had quite a lot of spare time to look around. Since I bought even more than I needed in previous cities, I didn't spend too much time shopping. I took some last-minute souvenirs and some clothing items that I really liked - I'll show you everything I bought in the next post. :)
Until then, have a little sneak peek into Venice - and you'll know why I loved it so much. You may notice that there are quite a few pictures of masks. Forgive me, but I loved them so much that I couldn't resist photographing them. Which one would you pick?

Venecija je bila poslednji grad u kome smo bili (ako ne računamo Trst, koji je bio naša stanica za pauzu tokom povratka kući), i tamo sam se divno provela. Nakon što sam videla sve one vodene ulice, predivne balkone i iskusila romantičnu atmosferu, razumela sam zašto je to jedan od najposećenijih gradova u Italiji. Prelepa je na svaki mogući način.
Brodić nas je prevezao do Venecije, i nakon što smo nakratko odslušali vodiče, imali smo puno slobodnog vremena za razgledanje. Pošto sam u prethodnim gradovima kupila i više nego što mi je bilo potrebno, nisam provela previše vremena u kupovini. U poslednjem trenutku sam uzela neke suvenire i nešto što mi se od odeće baš dopalo - pokazaću vam sve što sam kupila u sledećem postu.
Do tada, provirite malo u Veneciju - i shvatićete zašto mi se toliko dopala. Moguće je da ćete primetiti da ima nekoliko slika maski. Oprostite mi, ali toliko su mi se dopale da nisam mogla da odolim da ih uslikam. Koju biste vi izabrali?
