Aliens did it again

When I saw this video message from Bill and Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel, I burst into tears. Even though this message was recorded for thousands, or even millions of fans from all around the world who voted in the category for the best fan army and always supported the band, I couldn't help but feel a little more special than I usually do.

I love this band for a long time, and I know I'll love them forever. They not only introduced me to music I fully enjoyed, but they also made me laugh in their private videos, gave me solutions to all my problems through their emotional lyrics, and woke up my inner courage to face the stereotypes instead of hiding from them.

The only thing that's missing in this beautiful shout out (which was actually whispering in the middle of the night because it was "super late") are their band mates - Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing. I really miss seeing them all together, but I know it will happen soon.

I love this band. I love those people as much as what I know about them lets me. I'm not ashamed of myself and I'm proud of all the choices I've made so far. I'm proud to be an Alien.

Kada sam videla video poruku od Billa i Toma Kaulitza iz benda Tokio Hotel, nisam mogla da zadržim suze. Iako je ova poruka snimljena za hiljade, ili čak milione fanova iz svih krajeva sveta koji su glasali u kategoriji za najbolju armiju fanova i uvek podržavali bend, osetila sam se samo malo posebnije nego inače.

Volim ovaj bend već dugo, i znam da ću ih voleti zauvek. Uz njih nisam samo otkrila muziku u kojoj u potpunosti uživam, već sam se smejala njihovim privatnim video snimcima, pronašla rešenja za svoje probleme u njihovim emotivnim pesmama, i probudila svoju skrivenu hrabrost da se suočim sa stereotipima umesto da se krijem od njih.

Jedino što nedostaje u ovom predivnom odjeku (koji je, zapravo, bio šaputanje usred noći jer je bilo "super kasno") su njihove kolege iz benda - Gustav Schäfer i Georg Listing. Nedostaje mi da ih vidim sve zajedno, ali znam da ću uskoro i to moći.

Volim ovaj bend. Volim ove ljude koliko god mi ono što znam o njima to dozvoljava. Ne stidim se sebe i ponosna sam na sve izbore koje sam do sada napravila. Ponosna sam što sam Vanzemaljac.
